I would like to thank Salima very much because she gave very simple examples day to day life examples so that is one thing I am very happy about & it will help me remember about those things.
I learnt about stakeholder management & specially hidden stakeholders. I also learned that we should add things like KPI & productivity to give customer confidence. This is very useful & I will definitely apply it in my project.
We are doing certain things as project management. But there were lot of things which were eye openers for me in this program. This will help us to move towards industry standards in project management.
The first thing is to become a leader. I have been in this company from 7 years and there are so many opportunities that I should do more work and take more responsibilities. I was being able to do the independent work. Salima has clearly given certain examples and the terms that we need to use in certain place.
Since we are connecting business and customers, we are in the middle. So how we can bring profit to the business and value to the customers. I am able to connect the dots now. Very thankful to Salima for explaining things in such a simple way and their activities are actually wonderful that I am able to connect the activities with the actual world.
The opportunity that I got there are so many things done which stands apart from other organization. But the most important thing is how structured we need to reflect. It was a very useful session. It was very interactive, informative also.
I usually cannot focus for more than 30 mins in any session. But this program was so interactive & engaging that I could easily focus & understand for 4 hours for 5 days!
I am a technical person who is now doing project management. I was many activities without knowing how to do them properly & what benefit it can bring to the project. After attending this program, I understood how to do the project management activities in the correct manner & why we are doing them, so that it will be very beneficial for my projects.
